We are different. We are always accessible and timely. We do the heavy lifting to make sure you understand every aspect from permits to inspections to building.

We Name Every Dollar...More times than not, a contractor walks through a project and gives back a large estimate that they seemed to have pull from thin air, with no explanation why. We show you where your money is going and why It is going there. We won’t markup material cost to make a profit like other contractors will.

We Do it One way, the Right Way...We firmly believe that nothing outweighs doing something the right way. Unfortunately, many contractors take shortcuts, not obtaining permits, hiding issues a homeowner might not see, and not being licensed and insured are some examples. We do not care how much of our time, money, or effort we self-sacrifice to make sure it’s done right. Proper paperwork? Always. Licensed and Insured? Always. Being upfront and honest with you? Always.

Meet the Owner
Colin Grim
Owner of Grim Builders LLC
Colin was born and raised in South-Eastern Connecticut, where he resides with his wife. He has always valued lifelong learning, earning him his Associates in Criminal Justice; as well as continued education towards a B.A. in Sociology from Eastern Connecticut State University. Colin discovered that his true passions were creating things with his hands as well as helping and engaging with others. This naturally led Colin to develop his knowledge and skill in carpentry and home remodeling. He was led under mentorships with General Contractors with decades of experience. Being trained and prepared Colin took his own path and formed Grim Builders LLC where he provides professional serves to Southeastern Connecticut and beyond.
